I’m a six‑time serial entrepreneur and long‑time investor who’s built wealth across five different industries — and rebuilt it after catastrophic setbacks. I began investing in stocks in 1982, in real estate in 1994, and added successful crypto investing in 2016. I’ve read over 300 books on wealth creation so you don’t have to, authored two best‑selling books, including The Millennial Money Tree (now in its 3rd edition). My experience also includes winning an innovation award presented by a sitting U.S. Vice President and being featured on national media for the invention of divorce insurance as well as for successfully navigating financially devastating life events. I’ve also endured major setbacks that would derail anyone’s financial plans — a bankruptcy due to stupidly high-risk investments in 1989, two divorces, kidney cancer (and being surprised to learn that I was born with only one kidney), going deaf when my income depended almost entirely on being able to talk on the phone and losing nearly $3.5M in the stroke of a pen due to legislative changes aimed specifically at my then blossoming divorce insurance business — I used those lessons to refine my proven, practical strategies for accelerated wealth building.
